IS 2185 : Part 1 : 2005 Concrete Masonry Units - Specification Part 1 Hollow and Solid Concrete Blocks

1 Scope

This Standard (Part 1) Covers the Following concrete masonry building units which are used in the construction of load-bearing and partition walls:

a) Hollow(open and closed cavity) load bearingconcrete blocks,

b) Hollow (open and closed cavity) non-load bearing concrete blocks, and

c) Solid load-bearing concrete blocks and nonload bearing concrete blocks.
