IS 2199 : 1989 Radial drilling machines - Test chart

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers both geometrical and practical tests ongeneral purpose and normal accuracy radial drilling machines, andthe corresponding permissible deviations with reference to IS 2063: 1962.

1.2 This standard deals only with the verification of accuracyand applies neither to the testing of the running of the machine(vibrations abnormal noises, stick-slip motion of components, etc),nor to the machine characteristics (speeds, feeds, etc), whichshall generally be checked before testing the accuracy.
