IS 2212 : 1991 Code of practice for brickwork

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the construction of brick masonry ingeneral and the erection of brick walls in particular.

1.2 Only masonry with clay bricks is dealt with in thisstandard. Use of unburnt bricks (kachcha bricks) and use of mudmortar are not specifically covered in this standard.
