IS 2245 : 1962 Methods of sampling quartizite

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the procedure to be followed incollecting and preparing samples from a lot in order to determineore sizes, moisture content and the chemical composition of thequartzite in the lot. It details the procedures for sampling of theores from stock piles, loaded rail wagons, conveyors and shipsholds.

1.1.1 This standard also includes a method for reporting thequality of the bulk of the quartzite sampled.
