IS 2257 : 1989 Paper Adhesives, Liquid Gum and Office Paste Type-Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods ofsampling and test for adhesives for joining paper to paper or paperto other surfaces like paperboard, wood, cloth, glass and metals ingeneral office use.

1.2 This standard does not cover adhesives used for makingcartons and quick-setting adhesives used for labelling with highspeed machinery.
