IS 2267 : 1995 Polystyrene Moulding and Extrusion Materials - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements, methods ofsampling and tests for polystyrene materials, both crystal andrubber modified, suitable for moulding and extrusion.

1.2 This standard establishes a classification for polystyrene(PS) materials which may be used as the basis for specification.

1.3 It does not apply to expanded polystyrene, styrenecopolymers, homopolymers of substituted styrene. It applies tomaterials ready for normal use, unmodified and modified bycolorants, additives, etc.
