1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the conditions and detailedprocedures for the tests to be conducted on all classes ofamplitude modulated (sinusoidal modulation) radio frequency signalgenerators in the frequency range of 30 kc/s to 30 Mc/s todetermine their performance characteristics.

1.1.1 These tests apply to complete signal generators only andnot to component parts thereof.
