1 Scope

This standard (Part 1) covers the dimensions and otherrequirements of endless V-belts for power transmission in generalindustrial applications.

1.1 This standard also covers recommendations for transmissioncapacities and selection procedure for the belts.

1.2 The V-belts conforming to this specification are recommendedfor operating at ambient temperature between +60�Cand -18�C.
