This Indian Standard (Part 1) (Third Revision) which is identical with ISO 2859-1 :1999 'Sampling procedures for inspection by attributes - Part 1: Sampling schemes indexed by acceptance quality limit (AQL) for lot-by-Iot inspection' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the rE~commendation of Statistical Methods for Qualityand Reliability Sectional Committee (MSD 3) and approval of the Management and Systems Division Council.
