NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 6) which is identical with ISO 2859-5 : 2005 ‘Sampling procedures for inspection by attributes — Part 5: System of sequential sampling plans indexed by acceptance quality limit (AQL) for lot-by-lot inspection’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Statistical Methods for Quality and Reliability Sectional Committee and approval of the Management and Systems Division Council.
This standard is published in various parts under the general title ‘Sampling procedures for inpection by attributes’. The other parts in this series are:
