1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and methods of sampling and test for natural and black colour (carbon black pigment) polyethylene (PE) films/ sheets intended for canal lining, agricultural operations, post-harvest uses, vermiculture, construction/ infrastructure work, dunnage, pond lining, water reservoirs, road application and waste management including solid and liquid.

1.2 This standard covers flexible, unsupported flat or tubular films made from polyethylene materials of thickness and width as specified in 3.

1.3 Coloured films other than black shall be as agreed to between the supplier and the purchaser.
