This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 54 :1996 `Cylindrical gears for general and heavy engineering -Modules issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standardson the recommendations of the Transmission Devices SectionalCommittee and approval of the Medical Instruments, General andProduction Engineering Division Council.
