IS 2760 : 1980 Specification for Steel Chain Slings

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements, methods of ratingand testing of single-, two-, three- and four-leg or branch weldedchain slings of Grades L (3), M (4), S (6) and T (8) using chainsconforming to IS 2429 : Part I : 1970, IS 3109 : Part I : 1970, IS6217 : 1971 and IS 6215 : 1971 respectively together with theappropriate range of components.
