IS 2855 : 1991 Thermostat metals - Determination of flexivity

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the procedures for determination ofthe flexivity of the thermostat metals (Method A) tested in theform of flat strips 0.30 mm or over in thickness and (Method B)tested in the form of spiral coils less than 0.30 mm in thickness.

1.2 Flexivity is determined for thermostat metal as a whole, noaccount being taken for the characteristics of the individualcomponents.
