IS 2877 : 1986 Test chart for single and double column planing machines

1 Scope

Describes both geometrical and practical tests on planingmachines with single and double column and the correspondingpermissible deviations.

1.1 It deals only with the verification of accuracy and appliesneither to the testing of the running of the machine (vibrations,abnormal noises, stick-slip motion of components, etc) nor to themachine characteristics (speeds, feeds, etc) which shall generallybe checked before testing the accuracy.
