IS 293 : 1980 Code for seaworthy packaging of cotton yarn and cloth

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the method of packing cotton yarnand cloth intended for export to ensure their safe transit. Therequirements of packing materials used for making bags, bales,cases and cartons have also been specified.
