IS 2949 : 1992 Engineering metrology - Plain V-blocks for inspection purposes - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements of V-blocks to be usedas individual V-blocks or in pairs for inspection purposes. Thestandard also gives the dimensions of clamps to be used withV-blocks.

1.2 Use of V-Blocks

V-blocks for inspection purpose are preferably used foraligning, marking and testing of cylindrical and V-shapedworkplaces.
