1. SCOPE

This standard (Part 41) describes the following four methods for the determination of cadmium in water and wastewater:

a) Direct air-acetylene flame method;

b) Extraction/air-acetylene flame method;

c) Differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry; and

d) Inductively coupled plasma method.
