This Indian Standard (Part 78) which is identical with ISO 16265 : 2009 ‘Water quality - Determination of the methylene blue active substances (MBAS) index - Method using continuous flow analysis (CFA)’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Water Quality Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
