1. SCOPE

This standard (Part 79) describes the following four methods for the determination of silver in water and wastewater:

a) Direct air-acetylene flame method;

b) Extraction/air-acetylene flame method;

c) Electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometric method; and

d) Inductively coupled plasma method.
