1. Scope

This clause of IS 302-1 (1979) is applicable except as follows.

1.1 Replacement

This standard covers the general and safely requirements and methods of test for electrically heated hot-plates designed for connection to supply at voltage not exceeding 250 V ac single phase 50 Hz or dc.
