1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and methods ofsampling and test for hydraulic oil, mineral oil additive typewhich is intended for use as a hydraulic fluid in machine toolshydraulic presses, battery manufacturing plants, die castingmachines, production shops, printing works, grinding machine; andvarious other machines where oil is recommended as a hydraulicmedium to ensure fast, smooth and reliable machine operation withminimum power consumption.
