1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the requirements and performancetests of electrically heated incubators used in the laboratoriesfor bacteriological and allied work, designed for thermostaticcontrol at one or more temperatures above ambient and up to 80�C, and for connections to supplies at 240 V acsingle-phase 50 c/s, or dc 230 or 240 V systems, with rated loadingnot exceeding 3 kW.
