IS 3119 : 1978 Specification for Hot Air Sterilizers

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down requirements for electrically heatedhot air sterilizers (sterilizing ovens) designed to work atvoltages not exceeding 250 V ac single phase 50 Hz with a maximumload of 5 kW, intended for hospital and laboratory use. Continuoussterilizers are not covered in this standard.
