IS 3130 : 1985 Code of practice for handling and storage of microtransparencies (microfilms and microfiche) (silver halide)

1 Scope

1.1 This code covers the manner of handling of microfilm andmicrofiche during exposure, processing, packing, despatch and usein order to ensure prevention of damage and also lays down theinspection requirements and conditions in which the film should bestored so as to prevent damage and prolong its useful life. Theprocessing of film for ensuring the stability of image has beencovered in IS : 3083-1985.

1.2 This code covers only safety base silver halide films.
