1 Scope

This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods of sampling and test for menthol largely used for flavoring incandies, pan masala and chewing gums; in compounding of pharmaceutical preparations; in flavoring of tooth pastes, mouthwashes, oral preparations; in the preparation of menthol izedcigarettes, etc.
