IS 3136 : 1965 Polycrystalline semiconductor rectifier equipment

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the requirements and the testsapplicable to the rectifier equipment using polycrystallinesemiconductor rectifier stacks and used for supplying dc power fromac sources at frequencies up to 2000 c/s.

Note - In the rectifier equipment covered by this standard, theimpedance of ac system is assumed to have no influence on theoperation of the rectifier equipment.

1.2 This standard does not apply to the telecommunicationrectifier equipment other than those for power supplied to suchapparatus
