IS 3173 : 1965 High pressure connections for fuel injection equipment for diesel engines

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the dimensions and otherrequirements for high pressure connections, such as connectingstud, cap nut, and nipple ends of pipe of Type A and Type B (SMMTType); and pressure washer, used for connecting fuel injectionequipment in diesel engines.

1.2 A typical assembly of a high pressure connection is shownwhich also gives suitable combination of different items accordingto their nominal sizes.
