IS 3191 : 1968 Methods of sampling of cryolite and aluminium trifluoride

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the procedure to be followed incollecting and preparing samples from a lot in order to determinethe moisture content and the chemical composition ofcryolite/aluminium trifluoride in the lot. It details the procedurefor sampling of the mineral from conveyors, wagons, ships holdsand stock piles.

1.1.1 This standard also includes a method for reporting thequality of the bulk of the mineral sampled.
