IS 3204 : 1978 Limestone for chemical industry

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods ofsampling and test for limestone for chemical industry. It alsocovers seashells and calcite, a crystalline form of naturallyoccurring calcium carbonate.

1.1.1 This standard does not cover limestone for building,agricultural, metallurgical, glass and ceramic industries.
