1 Scope

Specifies requirements of irrigation syringes also known as`Tomey Syringes used for stomach and bladder irrigation in medicalfield.

1.1 For general requirements the provisions covered in IS :3235-1980 `General requirements for syringes for medical use (firstrevision) shall apply unless otherwise stated in this standard.
