1. Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and methods of sampling and test for Black Japans, Types A, B and C.

1.1.1 It is primarily suitable for application by brushing. Besides the applications as given in 4.1, this material can be used for painting of grill, gates, metal roof etc in houses and buildings.

At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid.
