1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 2) prescribes methods for estimation ofthe following preservatives on textiles:

a) p-nitrophenol

b) 2, 4-dinitro-1-naphthol (DAN)

c) 4, 6-dinitro-ortho-cresol (DNOC)

d) Dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT)

e) Pentachlorophenyl laurate (PCPL)
