1. Scope

This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods of sampling and test for ready mixed paint, aluminium, brushing, priming, water resistant, forwoodwork. The material is used as a primer in the painting system normally followed for paints and wooden surfaces. It is used for the protection of woodwork both under marine and inland outdoor conditions. It may also be used for direct application to metal surfaces.
