1 SCOPE

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and methods of sampling and test for solvent-extracted decorticated cottonseed meal (de-oiled cake) for use as livestock feed ingredient.

1.2 This standard does not cover cottonseed oilcake meant as livestock feed ingredient for which a separate standard, IS 1712 has been formulated.
