1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the recommended procedures for flawdetection by the application of liquid penetrants.

1.1.1 This standard does not lay down any stipulation for theacceptance or rejection of materials and components on which flawshave been detected. This shall be subject to mutual agreementbetween the contracting parties.
