NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 12) (Third Revision)which is identical with ISO 2930 : 2017 'Rubber, raw natural - Determination of plasticity retention index (PRI)' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation(s) of the Methods of Test for Rubber and Rubber Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.

Methods of test for various characteristics of natural rubber were originally published under four different parts of IS 3660, which were subsequently revised and published as thirteen separate parts termed as NR Series for methods of test for natural rubber.
