This Indian Standard (Second Revision), which is identical withISO 7007 : 1983 `Woodworking machines - Table bandsawing machines -Nomenclature and acceptance conditions issued by the internationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureauof Indian Standards on 5 January 1990, on the recommendations ofthe Woodworking Machine Tools Sectional Committee (PED 01) andapproval of the Production Engineering Division Council.

This standard was first issued in 1966 as `Test charts forwoodworking bandsaws and revised in 1974 as `Test charts forwoodworking table bandsawing machines. Consequent upon thepublication of ISO 7007 : 1983, this standard (including its title)has been aligned with ISO by adopting ISO 7007 : 1983.
