IS 3704 : 1966 Methods for sampling of light metals and their alloy products

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods for sampling and thecriteria for conformity for light metals and their alloy products.Broad outlines with regard to the controls to be exercised duringthe manufacturing process have also been indicated.

1.1.1 The sampling of light metals and their alloy products usedin the aircraft industry has not been covered in this standard.
