IS 3708 : Part 6 : 1985 Methods of Test for Natural Rubber Latex - Part 6 : Determination of Mechanical Stability

1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 6) prescribes a method for thedetermination of the mechanical stability of natural rubber latexwhich contains preservative agents and which has been subjected tosome type of concentration process. It is also applicable tovulcanized natural rubber latex.

1.1.1 This method is not necessarily suitable for laticespreserved with potassium hydroxide, latices from natural sourcesother than Heuea brasiliensis, or for compounded latex, orartificial dispersions of rubber, and is not applicable tosynthetic rubber latices.
