1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies requirements for non-automatic,pressure steam sterilizers, vertical, cylindrical type designed forworking pressure of 126 kN/m² (1.26 kgf/cm² approx) gauge but shall be set to operate at 105kN/m² + 15 kN/m² (1.05 + 0.15kgf/cm² approx) gauge pressure (correspondingtemperature of the saturated steam inside the chamber is minimum121�C).
