IS 3836 : 2000 Fire Safety of Industrial Buildings - Jute Mills - Code of Practice

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the essential requirements for the firesafety of jute spinning and weaving and processing mills; jute ropeand carpet making factories.

1.2 For the purpose of this standard, the term jute shall bedeemed to include flax, hemp, sisal and similar vegetable fibreother than cotton or kapok.
