1 Scope

This standard covers methods for measurement ofdimensional accuracy, running accuracy and radialinternal clearance of rolling bearings.

1.1 Various gauging methods are in use to measure the dimensional and running accuracy of the bearings. The methods which commonly used by bearing users and manufacturers and which provide an accuracy sufficient for practical purposes have beencovered.
