IS 4049 : Part 2 : 1996 Formed ends for tanks and pressure vessels - Specification Part 2 Based on inside diameter basis

1 Scope

This standard (Part 2) specifies the profile dimensions andtechnical delivery conditions of dished and flanged, pressed orspun ends designed on the basis of inside diameter commonly used asend closures of pressure vessels, receivers, tanks and similarequipments.

1.1 Where the ends have reinforced or flanged-in manholes, it isrecommended that they are made to the same geometric shape as theplain ends.
