1 scope

1.1 This standard covers the basic mechanical and electricalrequirements and methods of test for 6, 12 and 24 volt headlightswitches both pull-out type and the rotary type, for use inautomobiles.

1.2 This standard does not cover combination type of headlightswitches with ignition switches.
