This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with ISO 724 :1993 `ISO general purpose metric screw threads - Basic dimensions'issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendationof the Engineering Standards Sectional Committee and approval ofthe Light Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
