1. SCOPE

1.1 This Section of the standard (Part IX) covers the determination of the proportion by weight of bituminous stabilizer present in a stabilized soil mixture. It is not suitable for use in climatic conditions where the ambient temperature exceeds 30°C because of the high rate of evaporation of the solvent used in the test.
