IS 4397 : 1999 Cold-rolled Carbon Steel Strips for Ball and Roller Bearing Cages/Retainers - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements for deep drawing coldrolled carbon steel strip suitable for the manufacture ofcages/retainers for ball and roller bearings.

1.1.1 The strips shall be supplied in the skin rolled temperonly and shall be non-scalloping, suitable for the blanking, deepdrawing and piercing.
