This Indian Standard (Part 9) which is identical with ISO 7233 : 2021 ‘Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Determination of resistance to vacuum’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation(s) of the Methods of Test for Rubber and Rubber Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
This standard was originally published in 2014 as IS 16209 : 2014 Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Determination of resistance to vacuum, which was identical with ISO 7233 : 2006 under dual numbering system.
