IS 4610 : 1968 Glass tubes for general purpose and reference thermometers

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods ofsampling and test for glass tubes used in the manufacture ofgeneral purpose, reference and all other types of liquid-in-glassthermometers suitable for use within a range of -200� to +500�C.

1.1.1 This standard does not deal with glass tubes used in themanufacture of medical and enclosed-scale thermometers.
